The 19 Most Annoying Things This Reader Is Tired Of Hearing...

By Becca... Ever since I publicly established myself as a hardcore reader, a lot of really annoying things have been said to me. I'm not meaning by other readers or you guys, whatsoever. I mean by people who don't read or strangers or randos or those pesky people I went to high school with and added on Facebook years ago and somehow they haven't deleted me yet despite the fact that the only thing I post is book stuff. Hearing the same type of statements over and over just gets super annoying over time. I know most mean well, but sometimes their comments just take away my precious reading time, and I'm So. Over. It. 1. "What's your favorite book of all time?" Honestly this only gets annoying to me because HOW DO I CHOOSE? HOW?! It's impossible. Like picking your favorite movie, or food, or something. Picking favesies isn't fun for anyone, okay?   2. "I'm sorry to interrupt you while you're reading, but..." Literally ...

Top Ten Books To Read If You're In the Mood To Binge Read...

From Becca's Shelves...   Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & The Bookish .
This week's topic is TOP TEN BOOKS TO READ IF YOU'RE IN THE MOOD TO BINGE READ... because I'm currently OBSESSED with binge-ing any and everything lately! I went a little overboard with suggestions today, but I wanted to give you guys ALL the options! Enjoy! Finished series: The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo -  SHADOW & BONE IS #1 PRIORITY BINGE READ. If only so you can read Six of Crows IMMEDIATELY. Just trust me (and I'm sure Andye would back me on this!) Vampire Academy /Bloodlines by Richelle Mead - Vampires + Vampire Guards + SEXY guys = <3 His Fair Assassin by Robin LaFevers - ASSASSIN NUNS. That's all I'm saying. (Also, they are totes bada**es! The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare - Demons + Demon Hunters + LOTS of sexual tension. Trust me, this series is 110% binge-able. You won't want to stop reading them! (Which is g...

Reasons Why Fictional Boyfriends Are Just Better...

By Becca... So, look, you guys all know that I'm pretty obsessed with some fictional boy toys, right? I mean, when I really love a book, it's because the hottie hero totes stole my heart and soul. I have literally like 50+ book boyfriends.  Why is that? Well, now that I'm officially the big two five (that's 25), I've found myself thrust back into the dating world, much like any typical coming-of-age chick flick, (which I never imagined myself going through when I was younger, btw). I always figured I'd be settled down with a family by now. HA! Funny how life doesn't quite turn out the way you plan it to. Anyways, dating is not easy. It's not all fun and swoons and bright butterflies taking flight in your stomach. Sometimes it makes your day and sometimes it completely breaks it. WHY put myself through this charade? I was thinking to myself the other day that it's nearly ridiculous to put so much effort into real boys when I have loads of fic...

REAL TALK: Becca's Having Problems Finding Time To Read...

By Becca... If you've been following the trials and tribulations of Becca over the past few weeks, you'd know that I was just getting back into crazy work season and that I recently achieved convincing my parents to buy me a puppy. Well, I love Manon Bellarke Blackbeak Fowler SO SO SO MUCH, but puppies are SO. MUCH. WORK. And she likes to keep me up all night so she can play, so my days and nights have been completely out of wack. Anywho, I was on such a great start for my goodreads reading challenge for 2016, but now that I'm losing a lot of sleep due to puppy-raising, working a lot more, exercising again, and also starting to date a new guy ( WHAT?! Yes. Surprise Everyone. It was a surprise to me too. We'll see how it develops, though. We all know how my luck with guys is, right? HAHA. It's nonexistent.) , I've found my reading time to basically diminish from 25/8 to ZERO. I have maybe read 60 pages in the past two weeks, and that makes me feel absolute...

Whatchu Worrying About, Book Nerd?

By Becca... BOOKISH WORRYING 1. To go out at night or stay home and read I don't know about you guys, but this is something I constantly worry about. I get asked to go doing something mundane, but but but this book that I'm reading is so good. I need to finish it like ASAP. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN!! If I go out, all I'm going to be doing the whole time is wondering about my book and feel miserable.  I'm not a people person. I'm a book person. Yeah, most of the time, the choice I make is pretty clear. Just know, I do feel a tiny bit bad about not going out. BUT THIS BOOK IS WORTH IT, OKAY?! SORRY NOT SORRY. 2. To let them borrow or not to let them borrow...  I LOATHE  letting people borrow my books. I know this is a little selfish, but the entire time, I worry about...   A.) Did they wash their hands before opening it? Are they getting fingerprints all over my beautifu...
