Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree This Year...

From Becca's Shelves...

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.

This week's topic is TOP TEN BOOKS I WOULDN'T MIND SANTA LEAVING UNDER MY TREE THIS YEAR, and of course, all I'm thinking about now are books that realistically won't be under my tree this year, BUT THAT I WISH WOULD BE BECAUSE I CAN'T STOP ANTICIPATING THEM.

#readerprobz

But like a good little blogger, I shall only pick books that are currently released (only because next week's topic is books that I'm anticipating in the first half of 2016).

The Lies About Truth by Courtney C. Stevens - I've had my eye on this one since before it even came out. I have no idea why I haven't purchased a copy yet. I really need to so I can finally read a book by Courtney! She's super sweet, and from what I hear, a fantastic writer!

Untamed by AG Howard - This book is the reminder for me to read Ensnared. I know, I know! I really need to get on that! If only, so I can read Untamed!

Fallout (Lois Lane) by Gwenda Bond - Ah! Another book that has eluded me! How haven't I bought this one?! IT'S ABOUT LOIS FRIGGIN LANE! MARVEL! AH! NEED!!!!!!!

The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler - Contemporary The Little Mermaid. (Basically.) Which means I need it under my tree or in my stocking this Christmas!!!

Written in the Stars by Aisha Saeed - Arranged marriages scare the crap out of me, and this realistic fiction sounds like a Becca book. I wouldn't mind you leaving this one, Santa! :)

Maybe Not by Colleen Hoover - NEED NEED NEED NEED PLEASE SANTA PLEASE. Maybe Someday was one of my top favorite books of 2015, and I need this novella like a Snowman needs cold temperatures!

Slasher Girls & Monster Boys - Anthologies usually aren't my thing, but this horror one sounds just right up my alley! PLUS LOOK AT THAT STELLAR AUTHOR LIST!

The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne - Heard lots and lots and lots about this contemporary, and it just makes me want it lots and lots and lots. (Lame joke. I'm officially making old people jokes. I'm fired.)

A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis - I LOVED Mindy's Not a Drop to Drink duology, and how on earth did I forget about her new book coming out?! Scratch this one, Santa. I'm buying this one as I type.

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera - OMG the buzz for this one! IT'S INSANE! I absolutely need this book, Santa, because it has been on so many best of 2015 lists that I'm dying to read it!!!!

What books would you want Santa to leave under your tree this year? Have you read any of the ones I want? Which one should I get with Christmas money?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Finally, My Thoughts on Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins Audio  So, I was going through my old posts, looking for something to post today, and came across this.  I guess I never posted it, because I was just so angry and disappointed.  Plus, I think I had talked so much about it, that I was sick of talking about it.  And also, I feel like there were so many things that bothered me that I couldn't get it all down.  But, I thought it might be fun to post this, and see if anyone is interested in it.  So, here are my bitter and resentful thoughts on Mockingjay! :P 8-30-2010 *spoilers galore* After reading Mockingjay all day on Tuesday, I left Wednesday morning to go on vacation for my anniversary.  All I could think about was Mockingjay.  You might think that's a good sign, like it was so well done that I couldn't forget about it.  But, for me, it wasn't.  I was so disappointed in this book.  Honestly, if I hadn't loved the first two books so much, I pr...
