THE FACT THAT I GOT IT A WEEK EARLY KILLS ME BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE KNOWS HOW AMAZINGLY AMAZING IT WAS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME I LOVED THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT SEVEN WHOLE MORE DAYS FOR IT!!!

Okay I'm taking a break from all caps, you're welcome. So to actually talk about Magnus. Magnus is Annabeth and Percy combined into one. He's smart and sassy. Even the gods acknowledge his sassiness. You know you're sassy when the gods are like, "What no sass?" Rick Riordon is literally the god of sass. Sadie, Percy, and now Magnus.
I love, love, love Sam. She brings another culture that is brought to life by Rick, not its own series, but it's there. She is funny, and is such a good fit for Magnus. Maybe GF material, maybe BFF material. Not sure just yet.
Yet again Uncle Rick comes and saves my grades in school. Mostly in history class. That moment you probably know more than the teacher about Greek Mythology. (Except how to spell mythology.)

"After all I've been through in the past year, it seems stupid that I resented them for so long. And my dad's relatives... I haven't thought about them in years. I have an uncle and cousin in Boston."
