Ten Bookish Things I Want to Quit...

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & The Bookish. 

This week's topic is Top Ten Bookish Things I Want to Quit, aka the ten book series I think I'm going to abandon. Key word being *think*. Because since I'm such a moody reader, I might just get the urge to go ahead and finish them. Who knows? 

Partials (Partials Sequence series) by Dan Wells - I know I really enjoyed the first two books in this series. I'm pretty sure I have the last one, but so much dang time has passed that I have no idea what even happened. I would probably have to read both books again just so I could read the last one at this point. CURSE MY MEMORY!!! *raises fist*

The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle series) by Maggie Stievfater  - I just didn't like this one. I tried, guys. I really did. But nope. Can't do it. 

Unwind (Unwind Dystology) by Neal Shusterman - Okay, so I KNOW that I loved Unwind. I think I read the second and third one, but by now there's like another 2 on top of that I think? It just got to be too much for me. I think I would've liked it if there wasn't such a huge space between the first and the others. I don't know. 

Starters (Starters series) by Lissa Price - Starters was good, but it wasn't anything that really blew me away. That and the fact that I saw some not so stellar reviews for the 2nd book are the reasons why I'm saying thanks but no thanks to the rest of this duology.

Renegade (The Elysium Chronicles) by J.A. Souders  - Renegade was a meh book. I liked it, but I didn't really really like it, if that makes sense? I think I might have just read it at the wrong time, so I might be willing to give the rest of them a chance in some time.

The Selection by Keira Cass - In my defense, I loved the first three. I was hesitant when they announced more books, but decided to at least give it a try. I struggled through The Heir. I really really wanted to smack the princess upside the head, because she drove me absolutely cray cray. I don't think I can manage to push through anymore of that hot mess.

Taken by Erin Bowman - There wasn't anything bad about Taken, but I think the reason why I didn't absolutely adore it was because it came out right when it seemed like everything had already happened in dystopian. I remember being too busy thinking it was just too much like other books I'd already read to actually enjoy it.

Marked (House of Night series) by PC Cast & Kristin Cast - Way too many books. I lost interest.

Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices) by Cassandra Clare - This series was spoiled for me, and I'm still upset about it so I'm trying to put it off until I completely forget what happens in the end. 

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer series) by Michelle Hodkins - Another series that I tried to love because of hype but couldn't. I dnf'd the second book. See! I tried, but I just can't get into it.
