Ten Finished Series I Have YET To Finish...

From Becca's Shelves...

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & The Bookish

This week's topic is Ten Finished Series I Have YET To Finish, which means that I have plenty of series to choose from! Yay, my very first EASY Top Ten Tuesday post! Haha, for real, I have the BIGGEST book buying problem, so I have tons of series on hand that I have yet to read the last book. My TBR is pretty much redonkulous at the moment, and I desperately want to fit these in as soon as possible, because I'm DYING to know how they end!

Crewel by Gennifer Albin (Crewel World) - I remember way back in my non-blogging days, when I was a tiny little reader who followed blogs for all things bookish, and I actually happened to win an ARC of this one, and LOVED it. Unfortunately, I didn't love the second one as much, but I'm hoping it was just a case of middle book syndrome. I have Unraveled on hand (I think?) for when I finally decide to finish it!

Of Poseidon by Anna Banks (The Syrena Legacy) - I cannot believe I haven't finished this one either. Anna Banks is like the Queen of Snark and I adore her series!

White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout (The Dark Elements) - Honestly, I'm really scared to read this one. I'm scared of being on the losing 'team'. I have the last book sitting on my nightstand, and I even read the first 50 pages, but I chickened out. I will work up the courage eventually!

Splintered by A.G. Howard (Splintered) - Another series that I'm afraid to finish due to being scared that she won't choose the guy I want! Haha, this seems to be a running theme for me, but I really do want to finish it soon. I'm not as scared with this one as I am with Every Last Breath.

The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa (Blood of Eden) - WHY HAVEN'T I FINISHED THIS? I loved this series of Julie's, but never picked up the last one (even though I bought it). I need to finish this one ASAP.

Incarnate by Jodi Meadows (Newsoul) - Okay, I've only read the first book in this series, and I wasn't blown away by it, so I never really felt the need to finish it.....until I read The Orphan Queen and loved it so much that I need more Jodi Meadows in my life. WHY CAN'T I FIND THE EXTRA TIME TO READ ALL OF THESE?!

Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock (Hemlock) - WEREWOLVES. I really like Kathleen Peacock's writing style, and the story is phenomenal. I loved her first two books, and I'm really really excited to finish this series up now that I have the last book! Thanks Book Outlet!

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi (Under the Never Sky) - This is one that I think everyone is going to freak out about. Haha. In my defense, I read the first two and I own the last one!!! I'll get to it.....eventually......

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (Daughter of Smoke and Bone) - The size of the last book in this series is daunting, but I really have no idea why I haven't read it yet. I pre-ordered it and everything.

Blood Red Road by Moira Young (Dust Lands) - Same with this one. I think the problem was that I was overwhelmed with the dystopian type books by the time the last one in this series came out that I didn't want to read it as much anymore, which is why it is still sitting on my unread shelves. *sad face*

So now I'm super bummed out about all the series I have yet to finish! Obviously I need a Time Turner so I have all the time in the world to catch up on all my reading! What are some finished series that YOU have yet to finish? Are any of ours the same? Let's discuss!

Finally, My Thoughts on Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins Audio  So, I was going through my old posts, looking for something to post today, and came across this.  I guess I never posted it, because I was just so angry and disappointed.  Plus, I think I had talked so much about it, that I was sick of talking about it.  And also, I feel like there were so many things that bothered me that I couldn't get it all down.  But, I thought it might be fun to post this, and see if anyone is interested in it.  So, here are my bitter and resentful thoughts on Mockingjay! :P 8-30-2010 *spoilers galore* After reading Mockingjay all day on Tuesday, I left Wednesday morning to go on vacation for my anniversary.  All I could think about was Mockingjay.  You might think that's a good sign, like it was so well done that I couldn't forget about it.  But, for me, it wasn't.  I was so disappointed in this book.  Honestly, if I hadn't loved the first two books so much, I pr...
