Top Ten Of My Auto-Buy Authors...

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & The Bookish. 

This week's topic is Top Ten Of Your Auto-Buy Authors (no matter the genre or what it's about... you'll buy it from these authors!). So basically all of the following authors? Yeah, I'd totally buy their grocery lists. That's how big of a fan I am of them all. 

Richelle Mead- I was late to the Richelle Mead bandwagon, because I was so over the whole 'vampire' trope when Vampire Academy first came out. But then! I got them for Christmas from my parents one year, and they sat and collected dust for a year or two. I started to feel guilty for not even trying them, and one of my twitter buddies was RAVING about them, so I picked up the first book, and the rest is history, as they say! (Yes, I've read both VA and Bloodlines and hoping to get to Soundless very soon!)

Sarah J. Maas- I'm pretty sure Sarah is going to be on everyone's lists today, but that just shows you how truly AMAZING she is at writing and creating characters that feel like they are sitting right beside you. *OH HAI CHAOL AND FLEETFOOT* But for realsies, I would buy ANYTHING that Sarah puts out on the market. (Also I get to meet her for the first time in September, and I AM FREAKING OUT ON THE INSIDE. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HUMAN IN HER PRESENCE?)

Jennifer L. Armentrout- JLA! I first discovered Jennifer from her Lux series (OMG L-O-V-E). I've read a few of her other books as well, but I haven't read every single one....yet. But I do own them all, and if that doesn't qualify for an auto-buy author, then I sure as heck don't know what does! :P 

Scott Westerfeld- Scott Westerfeld is basically a BAMF when it comes to books. They are all so unique and incredibly precious to my soul. He was the first author I read after coming down from my Twilight high, and boy, am I glad I did! Which reminds me I really need to reread his books soon, especially Uglies. 

Marissa Meyer- Marissa is one the sweetest, cheerful authors I've had the pleasure of meeting...TWICE, and it doesn't hurt that her sci-fi fairytale retellings are some of the absolute best that I've ever read. I can't wait to see what she puts out next after The Lunar Chronicles is finished. (#WinterIsComing and I cannot wait for the book OR THE SEASON!)

Kasie West- Kasie West! If anyone has been following me from my fledgling blogging days, you know that I am a huge KW advocate and I basically want every single person in the world to read her cute and fun books. Seriously. I go to B&N all the time, and secretly sneak her books in people's baskets. BUT SHHHH

Emery Lord- Everyone knows I save Emery's books from tornadoes first, so of course, she's one of my auto-buys. ALSO WHY IS IT NOT 2016 YET SO I HAVE A NEW EMERY BOOK?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! I'm having a crisis here. 

Leigh Bardugo- Leigh Bardugo!!! I have actually met her three times, which is highly unusual for a girl who hails from the little state of Oklahoma, but I'm so happy it's happened. Leigh is a treasure, and her books are GOLD. Speaking of, I'm 60 pages from finishing SIX OF CROWS AND OH MY GOSH ANDYE WAS SO RIGHT. YOU NEED TO BE FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT IS HONESTLY THE BEST I'VE READ THIS YEAR AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING BECAUSE THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY GREAT ONES. Whoa.... run-on sentence and CAPS-up (caps throw up)! You KNOW you HAVE to pre-order when I start caps-upping.

Claudia Gray- I discovered Claudia Gray back in the Twilight days, and I really enjoyed her Evernight series! But you know what I really love about Claudia Gray? Her A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU series. I need Ten Thousand Skies Above You like I need air!

Alexandra Bracken- I'm absolutely ECSTATIC over the fact that I got to meet her twice back in May. The Darkest Minds is such a fantastic series, and Alex is wonderful. I am dying to get to Passenger, but I'm trying to wait, because the wait for the next one is going to be horrid. I just know it!!!!
