Tigers Promise: Tigers Curse Novella by Colleen Houck

I'M BACK! I don't know if you're new or an old reader of this blog but I'm back from months of not writing any reviews (*turns to David Tennant* I'm sorry, Andye. I'm so so sorry) I've been so busy (lots of school and cooking) but I'm ready to start writing again! So here is a review on a novella of one of my favorite book series Tigers Curse!

At a Glance:
When I found out about a Tigers Curse novella I got so excited! I loved learning about Ren and Kishan's lives when they were younger, or just reading the story of how they got cursed was really interesting. I liked how it was from Yesubai's POV, very different from Kelsey's and took me a while to get used to a different girl falling for Kishan.

Action:
Colleen Houck is a genus when is comes to action. If y'all don't know, I am a freak when it comes to Romance and Action-packed books. I get bored easily with books but Colleen has never gotten me bored yet! Ren and Kishan's fighting scenes are the best. Fighting off Lokesh with lots of gore but always sitting on the edge of your seat because you never know who is going to win.

Romance:
The romance is this novella was an Okay. But I loved seeing Kishan and Yesubai fall in love. Even though the whole time was thinking "Its okay, its okay, Kishan will still be with Kelsey." The romance was sad yet sweet.

Heroine:
I really liked Yesubai's character. She was very kind, loving, sweet, and she didnt deserve any bit of the abuse her father Lokesh did to her. I felt so bad for her. I really liked learning more about her character, she's talked about a lot in the Tigers Curse series but I liked seeing the past story from her point of view.

Cliffhanger? 
Not really, no. But it did give me a sneak peek of Tigers Dream and that was a total cliffhanger! I just need to read Tigers Dream so bad!

Would I recommend it?
Action and romance packed book lover? Then Yes! (In fact, please please  just read the whole series... Andye!!)


Will I buy/keep it?
Yes! Always have Colleen Houck's books on hand.
