Anabel Unraveled is a special book to me, because it was the
first novel that I actually finished. Before AU, I had started and stopped
books many, many times. I hit a wall. I got into a situation that I couldn't
find a way out of. But when I started my heroine Anabel’s story, I knew it was
special. I knew she was special.
Heck, I even knew that Jared was special, even though he made for a pretty
intense antihero. And so, every time I got into a rough place, I toughed
through it. I forced myself to write, even during the times that I didn’t want
to, and I could not believe it when, at almost 150K words, I had finished.
I had finished a book. It was a crazy, powerful,
euphoria-laced feeling, one that I clung to, even through all of the rejection
letters and rewrites.
That was back in 2009. The book itself was published in
2012, after I went through the process of cutting it down, reshaping the
ending, and working in-depth with my publisher, eLectio Publishing, to make
sure it fit their quality standards.
That is why I am so thrilled that my publisher has decided
to offer it for free to all Kindle Unlimited users, and attached to
it is a novella chronicling some of the book’s events through the eyes of
Jared’s sister Meghan, who eventually becomes one of Anabel’s closest friends.
It was fun to write the scenes from both of their perspectives—and I think
reading what happened through Meghan’s eyes gives the reader a new appreciation
for what Anabel does in the story.
Synopsis:
There are two sides to every story, but rarely is
the reader afforded the opportunity to see the same story from such opposing
views. Enter the Anabel Unraveled + Beyond Anabel: Meghan Defined
Super-Bundle.
First, the book that started it all:
Anabel Martin’s world was destroyed the day her
father was murdered. After spending seventeen years of her life trapped on a
Top Secret island in the South Pacific, she now finds herself in Washington, DC
in the care of her former politician brother and his unwelcoming wife. While
she wants nothing more than to be left alone, instead she is thrust into the
limelight as a key witness in the Congressional hearings investigating the
murder of her father and the very existence of her former home. For Anabel,
it’s hard to concentrate on these proceedings when the thing she wants most in
the world is for Jared Sorensen to die.
What's even worse is that Jared is the only
reason she’s still alive.
Then, the book that took you deeper into the
story, through an entirely different set of eyes: Beyond Anabel: Meghan
Defined:
Meghan Sorensen's personal mantra had always been
"Order and Control." She strove to keep everything and everyone in
her life--boyfriends, her twin sister, her parents, and her brother, Jared--at
arm's length, and made sure that they all did what they were supposed to. Even
when Jared got into a mess with the sister of the former President of the
United States, Meghan was confident she could take charge of the situation and
resolve it.
Until the day she met Anabel Martin and everything
was upended.
Meghan Defined examines the beginning of Anabel
and Meghan's friendship from where it begins in Anabel Unraveled, providing
insight into Meghan's motivations through her own viewpoint.
Amanda Romine Lynch is a writer, editor, and blogger who grew up in Florida knowing she belonged somewhere else. She now lives in the DC Metro Area with her husband and three amazing little boys. She is the Eco-Friendly/Green Living Contributor over at the Prime Parents’ Club and strives to live earth friendly in a world of disposable diapers. When not writing about Anabel and Jared or chasing around a curly-haired boy, she cheers for the Gators (in all kinds of weather) and occasionally remembers to sleep.

This book sounds so intriguing I don't know what to make of it:)
