My Awkward ALA Midwinter iPhone Video

This year I was lucky to be able to go to ALA Midwinter with some of my amazing fellow YADC (Young Adult DC) blogger friends.  Jen, Hannah and I (along with Hannah's cousin, Missi), jumped in my car, with nine dozen of Jen's amazing cupcakes, and headed to Philly!  This was my first time there and I was really excited to see it.  The convention center was gorgeous, our hotel was so pretty and modern and new, and the whole area by the CC was really nice and filled with awesome places to eat.  But I know you really want to know about the books, so here ya go!



Thanks so much to Hannah, for organizing this trip, and to Jen for making the amazing cupcakes, and to both of you for being awesome people that made this experience so enjoyable.  This was my favorite conference yet!

(I also want to give a shout out to Jeremy & Jeff, Jen, Mitali, Christina, Jamie, Susan (THANK YOU SUSAN!!), & Stacey, who I really enjoyed seeing and hanging out with, but stupidly didn't get any pictures of.)

Oh and thanks to all the publishers, especially Harper Teen, who let us basically camp out on their squishy carpet, collect an incredible amount of books, and eat their delicious HarperAudio cake! :D

    That was such a fun video!! I'm sad to have missed out this time around but we hope to be in Vegas this summer for ALA Annual! :D

Finally, My Thoughts on Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
