I have been looking forward to Clockwork Princess as soon as I finished Clockwork Prince. This isn't going to be a very long review, just because if I say anything about the book, it will be a spoiler. I have to be extra careful due to it being the final in the trilogy. Clockwork Princess was absolutely phenomenal. All expectations were met and then some. I had the most perfect ending in my head, Cassandra Clare took that ending and made it so much better. It's almost like she knows better than I!The off the charts love triangle between Jem, Tessa and Will just continues to swirl and swirl. So much action and tense drama. This series, The Infernal Devices, is one of my absolute favorites.If you haven't started this series, do so. Maybe start with The Mortal Instruments. However, you could get away with starting the Infernal Devices first. I think I enjoyed this series more than The Mortal Instruments, I just think it's because it's set in old London. - As far as the audio goes, it was awesome. The reader Daniel Sharmen sounded just like Jude Law. Need I say more?
- So there it is. Simple. Sweet. Of course Cassandra Clare is going to do an awesome job making all our dreams come true. Listening to Daniel Sharmen really is the icing on the cake!

ReplyDeleteI just finished this audiobook last night and my review is pretty much just talking about my feelings and nothing about the actual book. I know that I avoided anything at all talking about CP2 until I was finished with it out of fear of hearing anything about the book. Awesome review!! You can tell how much you loved it and you said nothing much about the book itself at all.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you liked it! I'm about 3/4 of the way through and really enjoying it. I actually haven't read The Mortal Instruments. I didn't even know they were connected until after I read the first Infernal Devices book.
