    When Katherine Tulman is sent to Stranwyne Keep to secure her cousin's inheritance and declare her uncle insane what she finds is not mad man but a genius, his handsome assistant, and two villages full of working men, woman, and children. But with that unexpected twist will she disobey her aunt or will she hand it all over.
    This book was a little for older people for my taste but I still really enjoyed reading it. The plot keeps you on your toes, the characters keep you coming back for more, and the setting was spectacular. So, now the moment you've all been waiting for *drum roll* THE QUESTIONS!

    Who was your favorite character and why?

    My favorite character has to be Lane. He is Katherine's uncle's assistant, and he's also awesome. Why you may be asking? Well it's because he's not afraid to be himself, he's an artist, he also is a kick butt tough guy :)

    What where all the characters like? 

    None of them where the same. They all had unique personalities. But one thing I didn't like was that it didn't describe the characters so I had no clear idea about what they looked like :(

    What did you think about the setting?

    It was amazing! Like there where secret underground tunnels. Stranwyne Keep was a giant house with a HUGE estate complete with castle ruins, hills, the work shop, a chapel, Stranwyne Keep, the upper village, and the lower village. It was well thought out and well planned.

    Action?

    Not much. I mean all of it was shunted to the back of the book. This is less an action book and more of a mystery book.

    Fine then MYSTERY? 

    Well Stranwyne Keep and it's grounds have tones of mystery. Like the voices, howls, and strange creeks heard in the night. Also Lane is a mystery all to himself.

    Romance?

    Well, like the action, it's all shunted to the back of the book. Though it did kinda grow on you during most of the book.

    Something to wrap it up?

    This was an amazing book and I would definitely recommend it! Thanks for reading!

      I wanted a lot more out of this book. While I loved the ending, it just took too long to get there in my opinion.

    Finally, My Thoughts on Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

      Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins Audio  So, I was going through my old posts, looking for something to post today, and came across this.  I guess I never posted it, because I was just so angry and disappointed.  Plus, I think I had talked so much about it, that I was sick of talking about it.  And also, I feel like there were so many things that bothered me that I couldn't get it all down.  But, I thought it might be fun to post this, and see if anyone is interested in it.  So, here are my bitter and resentful thoughts on Mockingjay! :P 8-30-2010 *spoilers galore* After reading Mockingjay all day on Tuesday, I left Wednesday morning to go on vacation for my anniversary.  All I could think about was Mockingjay.  You might think that's a good sign, like it was so well done that I couldn't forget about it.  But, for me, it wasn't.  I was so disappointed in this book.  Honestly, if I hadn't loved the first two books so much, I pr...
