In the town of Hemlock, if you catch the Lupine syndrome you are shipped off to live at a rehabilitation camp. Of course, if you are a werewolf you keep it a secret right? Well many people are dying, who is responsible?
Cover:
Yes, there was some good intense scenes. A couple of action parts. Not on the edge of your seat action, but they were pretty good.
Romance:
Hemlock has a double love triangle, I'm not even sure what that means, but it's sounds intriguing. A lot of different relationships are going on, but hey it's high school. The love interest was just okay for me, nothing to get all hot and bothered over.
Heroine:
Mackenzie "Mac" did not stop searching for her best friend Amy's killer. That definitely makes her the heroine in my book!
Hero:
It really could be Trey or Jason, they are both in love with Mac. Each one has their moment of heroism. I guess it depends on if you like the sweet, soft, caring guy or the rough, tough, alcoholic type of guy.
Favorite Supporting Character:
Amy. She haunts Mac in her dreams, kinda of creepy, sure.
Something I loved:
I love werewolf books!
Something(s) I hated:
Somewhat cliche', nothing really made this book stand out.
Cliffhanger?
Somewhat, the Epilogue at the end gives you a good idea what to expect for book 2.
Would I recommend it?
If you like werewolf books then yes, I would.
I will keep it because I already bought it on Amazon

ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to win this book and I love it. It's fantastic. The cover starts you drooling and then it goes on from there. I loved it & hope that it does well in all the ratings. It's a wonderful book. I guarantee enjoyment to all who take the time to read this.
ReplyDeleteI'm not the biggest fan of werewolf stories but I thought there was some interesting stuff in this book. I'm definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for the second book (although I'll probably get that from my library).
