Young Bloggers Unite: Austin's Card Tricks

Okay, so it's about time I tell you guys about something really cool. It's called Young Bloggers Unite. This is a blog run by Melina from readingvacation.net, HD from readingwritingbreathing.com, and myself, Austin from readingteen.net. It's a blog dedicated to young bloggers and what they do. We have guest posts from these young bloggers every few days, along with book reviews and other miscellaneous topics. This is a really cool site, so go check it out!

Yesterday, I made two videos for YBU. For a few months now, I've had a real love for performing card tricks. So why not show y'all some? One of the videos is of me performing five advanced card tricks. If you don't want to spend ten minutes watching some kid play with cards, that's fine. Wanting to share the love, I also made a video of four tutorials for more basic card tricks. These will really get you started off with card trickery. Thanks for watching!     Haha that was really cool! Hopefully I can learn the predictor trick quickly and try it out on my sister. Yay!

Finally, My Thoughts on Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

  Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins Audio  So, I was going through my old posts, looking for something to post today, and came across this.  I guess I never posted it, because I was just so angry and disappointed.  Plus, I think I had talked so much about it, that I was sick of talking about it.  And also, I feel like there were so many things that bothered me that I couldn't get it all down.  But, I thought it might be fun to post this, and see if anyone is interested in it.  So, here are my bitter and resentful thoughts on Mockingjay! :P 8-30-2010 *spoilers galore* After reading Mockingjay all day on Tuesday, I left Wednesday morning to go on vacation for my anniversary.  All I could think about was Mockingjay.  You might think that's a good sign, like it was so well done that I couldn't forget about it.  But, for me, it wasn't.  I was so disappointed in this book.  Honestly, if I hadn't loved the first two books so much, I pr...
