My Review
Brandon Mull, the amazing author of the Fablehaven series, has really helped me in my love of writing. I have had no interaction with him other than simply reading his book, but it feels like I know him very well through his writing. He writes his books sincerely, with a very flowing feel to them that I don't see all of the time. Mr. Mull, even at the slowest of scenes, keeps his books at the maximum level of entertainment, something I do not say lightly.
The first time I read the Fablehaven series was when I was about ten years old, so at fourteen years old now, this is probably a bit below my reading level. But, I don't really care. I was so in love with these books a few years ago, and that love never really left. The appreciation for certain books is something that really sticks with me, and my appreciation for Fablehaven is long-lived and never wavering. It is honestly one of my favorite series of books I have ever read. Seriously recommended to any lovers of fantasy books. Those reviews on the cover don't lie about it being Harry Potterish. These are seriously good books. So go read 'em.

I love this series as well! It's great, got any batteries? I'm having a signed copy coming from Brandon to me.
ReplyDeleteLove this series too! My kids and I listened to the first two on audio books and they were great too!
ReplyDeleteOK. I've gone and put this on my "read soon" stack. I've had it for a while, but I've been "skipping" it. Great review. You've made me excited to read this.
