WHAT IS IT????
So from what I've seen, Rowling secured the patent to the word Pottermore, and now there's this site, which is just the words "coming soon" and Jo's signature!!! Move your mouse around on the site and see what you find!
Are you trying to kill us, Ms. Rowling??
So yesterday sites like The Leaky Cauldron were given coordinates so that fans could locate them on this map and piece the word together.
Fans have been speculating ever since! What could this mean? A new book? Rowling's PR company says no.
A spokeswoman said: "It is not another Harry Potter book but we cannot reveal any more at this stage, fans will have to keep an eye on the website. It will be launching soon."
Fans have come up with all sorts of ideas. It is pink, so a female Potter? A comic book? An Encyclopedia? Many are guessing that is will be a MMORPG and that the "more" in Pottermore stands for Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Experience.

Actress Helena Barlow has been cast to play Rose Weasley.
Her bio:
Helena Barlow is 12 years old. The Deathly Hallows Part II is her first film. She has been a huge Harry Potter fan since a very young age and has read all the books many times. She lives in London with two sisters and one brother. When she is not acting she spends a lot of time dancing, especially ballet, but also loves athletics, cooking, and writing stories.
This just makes me smile! I just can't wait to see how they do the 19 years later. I'm so glad they're not skipping it!! What do you think of Helena? What are the odds that two people named Helena would be in Harry Potter? (Well, what do I know, maybe it's a really popular name in the UK.)
One last thing, have you seen all the new movie posters for part 2? They are seriously amazing! I love them all, and there are a TON of them. You can check them all out on the HP facebook page, and you should, they are EPIC!
Tickets are on sale now, and I heard they're expected to run out, so make sure you buy them early (for the midnight showing.)

ReplyDeleteI HOPE when they say it's not a new Harry Potter book it means that there will be a new Potter series...maybe Harry's kids?
ReplyDeleteI think it's an official announcement from J.K. Rowling saying that she "messed up" the whole "Fred Weasley is dead" thing and she wants to issue an official apology to the Weasley family, affected persons (like me), and fans everywhere who have been devastated over this alleged loss. The two owls only confirm my theory.

Rowling said that she was going to release a whole guide/encyclopedia to the Wizarding World, which is why she was initially peeved about the Harry Potter Lexicon site (apparently now she loves it. They even have a quote from Rowling on the site saying she loves them.)
