When something goes wrong and Sadie is taken to the hospital calling out for George, her hidden life may be exposed. Now she must confront the truth of the past, and protect a world she is terrified to lose.
Mental health is a serious issue that, thanks to books like Museum of Us, is coming into a whole new light. Everyone copes in their own way. Scrolling through social media, diving into a book, or maybe throwing yourself into your sport. The way Sadie copes is through her mind. She completely encompasses herself inside fantasies.
The writing of this book is beautiful and extremely creative. She explores so may different fantasy realms when delving into Sadie's mind, but also does an amazing job of slowing down, letting the reader piece together her personality and what might be the cause of the escapism.
JUST BE WARNED: The beginning is confusing, especially if you're like me and read the descriptions religiously. The description kind of threw me at first and when I was reading it I was incredibly confused, but it cleared up pretty soon.
